Davide Sburlati (42) is a luxury goods industry expert. He started his professional careers working for the “M&A” group at Credit Suisse First Boston in London. Then he Joined the “Luxury and Fashion” practice at Bain & Company in Milan, and thereafter moved to the “Luxury and Italian Lifestyle” team of Value Partners in Milan. In 2007 he founded Camelot Roma, a Private Equity and Advisory company, part of the Camelot network, specialised in investing in small-medium Italian luxury companies.
Davide developed his competences working at international level with leading luxury companies on projects related to strategic planning, financial and operational performance improvements, retail and wholesale channel development, licensing development strategy, new initiatives start-up, organisational restructuring and change management. He executed acquisition and divestiture of luxury companies, managed negotiation process, defined investment strategy, and supported implementation of growth strategies for portfolio companies
Davide graduated in Economia e Commercio from “LaSapienza” University in Rome, and earned an MBA, majors in finance, from Columbia University in New York. He’s fluent in English, is a speaker at national and international “Luxury Goods” conferences and holds classes at LuissManagement School in Rome
