Alberto Ghiglieno, Partner of Verto Value Regeneration, formerly CEO of Fiat Auto of Latin America and Senior Vice President of Fiat/GM Puchasing JV, has then worked with a Private Equity Fund, acting as CEO of various investments.

He joined the Fiat Group where, from 1987 to 1997, he covered different management positions in the Automotive Parts division.

In 1997 he joined Fiat Auto as Purchasing Vice President. In 1999 he participated to the setup of a 50/50 JV between Fiat and General Motors, in which all purchasing activities of both companies were placed. He then became CEO of European company .

Based in Russelsheim (Germany), with a purchasing budget of €30bn, he had the responsibility of more than 2000 people in 12 countries.

In 2001 he became CEO for Fiat Auto in Latin America and moved to Belo Horizonte in Brazil, where he was head of a company which was market leader, with a turnover of €2,5bn and about 8000 employees.

In 2005 he moved to a Private Equity Fund where, as CEO, managed several investments, while developing a deep knowledge of Small/Medium Companies issues.

In 2010 invested with some entrepreneurs in a spin-off of an Alcatel Lucent plant, creating a company with a turnover of about 80 Mill Euros, specialized in design and manufacturing of electronic equipments for Telecom, Biomedical, Defence, and Automotive.

In 2011 he became Partner in Verto Value Regeneration, with a specific focus on restructuring and performances optimization and in supporting companies in creating partnerships with Private Equity Funds.

Alberto Ghiglieno graduated in Engineering at Politecnico of Turin (1983) and earned an MBA at Bocconi University of Milan.

He speaks English, French and Portuguese.
